SPOT today was quite intense...the topic was about racism.
It really shocked me what racism has led to in some places in the world.
How innocent people get affected or die because of the inconsiderate actions of some brainless idiots who can't seem to accept someone different from they are.
But still, I will remain judgemental and look at things at a case-by-case basis.
Stereotypes.
We're doing something regarding to that in HCD too.
And the advertising industry uses alot of that.
So on one hand, I'm supposed to use it in works because they leave impressions in people's heads, while on the other hand, I'm reminded of the consequences they can create when situations stemming from their portrayal goes out of hand.
Such a conflict.
Opinions.
Anyway, I kinda prefer this SPOT lecturer as compared to the one we had last sem.
I think some people said he's boring but I kinda find his lessons more engaging.

I am driving myself crazy by stressing more about everything but it's good I guess.
I work under pressure.
Throughout my sec sch life I mugged and mugged and mugged and stressed myself out over geog and maths the most, but in the end it was all worth it because those were the subjects that I did the best in.
SO!
I shall persevere.
And since there is not that much external pressure in poly, I shall create my own pressure and force myself till I go crazy.
That's the way I work.
If it worked then, it will work now!!!!!
And hopefully I will be able to influence people around me in a positive way too.
